Our gala banquet is your best chance to schmooze with an astronaut or speaker. We will have more celebrities (hence more table choices), a bigger room, better service, excellent food, and more time. We still have a few spots left for the banquet. Seating will based on what's available. Please indicate your meal choice in the "Additional Instructions or Comments" area when you check out of our online form. There will be a cocktail party starting at 6PM outside the banquet room in the elegant Atlas room, while the banquet room is prepared. Astronauts will be gathered for "vanity" group shots with yourself posed with all the astronauts shot by a professional photographer for $125, with proceeds going to the SD Air & Space Museum. At about 7PM, the banquet room will be seated, there will be a short keynote by Jerry Doyle and special presentation by Andrew Chaikin, and then dinner will be served. After dinner and dessert, you're free to roam about, take pictures, and generally mix. Dress Code: Business; collared shirt & tie Banquet ticket price is only $150 each, and that includes a free drink ticket for the cash bar. |
