PRESS RELEASE

The 12th Lunar Legacies Space Memorabilia Auction will be held June 2, 2012 at the JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort in Tucson, Arizona, and will begin promptly at 9:00 AM PST. The auction will be in the exact same format as always. Lunar Legacies has been buying and selling historical space program memorabilia for almost 15 years, and has a reputation for extensive knowledge in the field, professionally run auctions and first class customer service. We look forward to meeting many of you out in Arizona before and after the auction.

Lunar Legacies holds a major space memorabilia auction every three months, and the website www.lunarlegacies.com serves as a lot preview site before each auction. Lots appear in the order received sometimes more than two months in advance of the actual auction date. Lots can be previewed at lunarlegacies.com right now.

Lunar Legacies uses Proxibid.com to conduct the live internet auctions - a very professional and easy to use site. Registration for the auction on Proxibid will be opened on or about May 7th. About two weeks before the actual auction date, in this case about May 19th, all the auction lots will be uploaded to proxibid.com to allow full lot viewing and pre-bidding to begin. Updates and instructions for this process as well as registration instructions will appear on the lunarlegacies.com site soon.

We have some really great items up for auction this time including an Apollo 11 flown flag as well as many flown items from other missions, a Lunar Module leg strut, Aldrin's Apollo 11 Flight Plan, many astronaut autographs including Armstrong and Grissom, many rare patches, an Ares 1-X flown flag, many historical items from the Flight.
