Spacefest 2009 Media Information

Media wishing to attend be advised that Friday Feb. 20 daytime will be very busy and any astronaut interviews are discouraged, as most astronauts will have lines at their tables. Our speakers will be accessible however.

Friday evening, however, a special media-friendly reception for our celebrity guests is planned at the San Diego Air & Space Museum ,at 7PM where the Apollo 9 crew will reunite with their capsule "Gumdrop" on occasion of their 40th anniversary of their flight. Hors d'ouerves will be served. Only authorized media will be admitted.

Also, celebrities and astronauts will be playing in the Moonwalker Invitational on Thursday the 19th and will arrive the 18th and may be available for interviews or stand-ups then.

Arrangements can be made with astronauts or speakers for interviews off-site, but they may require compensation.
