Live from the Moon

Spacefest is proud to present the world premiere of "Live from the Moon" Spacecraft Films' latest effort. You'll be seeing this on one of the cable channels this summer, but you can see it first, in HD on a big screen, with concert-quality sound, at Spacefest.

The film is a fresh new approach to the grand story of Apollo, the story behind the live television that brought the moon and Apollo adventures to hundreds of millions worldwide. See the TRAILER! courtesy collectSPACE.

Filmed using advanced direct high-def film-to-tape transfers, it features stunning visuals in HD, and rare material, with advanced digital enhancement of Apollo TV transmissions.

Largely shot on location, the film focuses not only on the U.S. but in Australia, where much of the original video was downlinked from the moon. Apollo astronauts and technicians are extensively interviewed on-camera to flesh out the story.

This project is backed up by seven-years of work with the space history archive, and reveals an unseen side of the space race.
