Paul Calle is one of America's greatest artists, Mr. Calle is the acknowledged master of the pencil, but unlike most artists, is comfortable in all media, from stone lithography to pallete and knife. In his talk, entitled "Space: An Artist's Journey" Paul will discuss his experiences as an official NASA artist from the years of the Mercury launches, through Gemini and Apollo, what it was like being the sole artist covering the Apollo 11 crew, his time spent with the Apollo-Soyuz crews in Russia and his familiar postage stamp designs. The talk will be an informal reminiscence of his years as a NASA artist, leaving ample time for all questions.
