OVERVIEW
"Space Exploration: Past, Present and Future"
SPACEFEST 2007
Will be held August 17-18-19 at the Mesa Convention Center,
sponsored by
NOVASPACE and THE PLANETARY SOCIETY.
Only 15 minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor Int'l, a major nonstop destination for many US
and overseas flights.

EVENTS
SPACEFEST will cover all facets of space exploration, manned and unmanned programs by way of
Astronaut appearances, speakers, space art, exhibits, and vendors,

ASTRONAUTS
The largest Arizona gathering of pioneer ASTRONAUTS will occur at SpaceFest.
The astronauts represent all phases of the space program.
The astronauts will be signing autographs (fees vary) and available for photos.

SPACE ART
The world's largest SPACE ART SHOW Will feature works from
NASA and USPS artists Robert McCall , Paul Calle,
and his talented collaborator, son Chris. Some
of the world's top space artists will be working live. Original paintings, giclee, limited edition prints, posters and cards
will be for sale to patrons.

SPEAKERS
Various SPEAKERS will be in two track, in the spacious Palo Verde rooms
as well as the comfortable conference theatre. Included will be Cassini imaging team
leader Dr. Carolyn Porco, who will speak of the many new discoveries and mysteries of the Saturnian system. Dr. Dan Durda and Apollo 9 astronaut
Rusty Schweickart will talk on the danger of Earth-crossing asteroids and comets. Admission will be charged to some of the talks.

BANQUET
A BANQUET will be held Saturday evening.
Each table will feature at least one of the astronauts or celebrity guests.

EXHIBITS, VENDORS
Dozens of EXHIBITORS, commercial,
sponsor, and corporate displays will be in the main convention
hall.

ADMISSION
To the astronaut room, vendors & exhibits, and space art show is $25/day, $35 for Friday through Sunday.
